If you are reading this, you are likely considering a side gig or a side hustle and, in my opinion, Scentsy is the best option out there! I had tried side gigs with 4 other companies before I decided to start a partnership with Scentsy all the way back in October of 2008-over 14 years ago. I never had financial success with any of the other companies I had chosen, and in fact, I had lost a lot of money with them through my own personal purchases, or being talked into buying huge amounts of stock that were very difficult to sell. 2) Zero Stock Required:
This is a HUGE reason of why you should be a Scentsy consultant. Many companies require huge purchases of stock up front. Other companies require you to order a certain minimum amount of product anytime you need anything. With Scentsy, you can place an order for exactly what your customer wants when they tell you. There is no requirement that you must invest any money to keep stock on hand.
3) MAKING MONEY!
You should be a Scentsy consultant because you can make some great money. While some people want a side gig or side hustle for things like friendship and/or recognition, most people start because they want to make money. So let’s line it out.
When you first sign up to be a Scentsy consultant, you will make 20% commissions of all your sales. It doesn’t matter if you had interaction personally with the customer or if they ordered online or through Scentsy Club. You will make 20% commission regardless.
Now once you sell 1000PRV (personal retail volume), your commission rate increases to 25% commissions and will never go down from that.
Want to make even more? When you sell 2000PRV in a single month, Scentsy is going to give you a bonus 5% on your commission for that month.
There are so many opportunities to increase commission checks if you decide to build a team although that is not required as a consultant.
4) TRAVEL
If you love to travel, you should consider being a Scentsy consultant. Some companies reward their consultants with leases on vehicles or high-end jewelry and handbags. I love the fact that Scentsy rewards consultants that achieve certain points during incentive time with free vacations and free travel. I have had the opportunity to travel the world thanks to Scentsy.
In addition to free vacations, Scentsy has several training opportunities throughout the year where I need to travel to different locations. While it is not free, I am able to claim my expenses from this travel on my taxes because I am learning things that will better my business in the long-run.
5) Early Preview and Purchase Opportunities
I love the fact that Scentsy consultants often have opportunities to pre-order items and sometimes even get them discounted before they are ever released! This is a great reason why you should be a Scentsy consultant.
6) Friendship and Meeting New People
When I look at my list of friends now, 90% of those people who I hold dear and consider great friends came into my life through Scentsy as either a customer or a fellow consultant. Another great reason that you should be a Scentsy consultant.
7) Opportunities for Growth
When I look back at the person I was in 2008 when I started with Scentsy, and the person I am now, they are not the same. While some changes just come from time and maturity, Scentsy has afforded me several opportunities to grow both socially, business-wise, and just as a better person overall. Personal Growth is a great reason why you should be a Scentsy consultant.
