I found Scentsy as a customer while I was a public school special needs kindergarten teacher. And I fell in love with the product because it was safe enough to have not only in my home but in the classroom as well. I loved the products because they worked. Guys, kids stink, especially after recess on a hot J, not July, we don’t start school till August, but on a hot August day in Oklahoma, um, the smell, I don’t even want to describe it, I won’t describe it for you cause it’s terrible. Um, but I needed fragrance in my classroom. This product was like I said, safe to have around my kids and it worked. My room smelled amazing. Um, my teacher friends were flooding my classroom trying to figure out what I was using and that is where the Scentsy obsession started. So I became a consultant.
Um, I’ve been doing this for 14 plus years now. Absolutely love the products, love sharing the products because affordable, safe, and they work. But also I love helping other people grow their Scentsy business so they can live a life of their design and a life of their own freedom. But today, like I said, we are going to be talking about the Best Scentsy Scents for your kitchen. Now I always make recommendations in a six pack because that is the best way to buy Scentsy wax. So today we’re gonna talk about my top six picks for the best Scentsy scents for your kitchen. So people often ask me, what is the top selling scent? Or what is your fragrance or what should I buy for this room? Or what should I buy for that room? The thing is,scentsare so personal, like I’m gonna make six recommendations.
Maybe you love them all, maybe you don’t love any of them, maybe you love some of them. So I’m gonna do my best giving you the exact description of the fragrance from the Best Scentsy Scents catalog, but then my personal experience with the fragrance. Today we are talking about your kitchen. So when I think about fragrances that I enjoy in my kitchen, I want one of two things. The most important thing that I want is I want that room to smell fresh and clean. Nobody wants to walk into a kitchen and smell cooked fish or cooked broccoli or those things. So I want a bright, crisp in your face fragrance that makes me feel like I’m in a very clean room. The other thing I might want in a kitchen is a food fragrance. Now if you follow me for a while, you will figure out that I don’t choose a lot of food fragrances.
They’re just not my jam. I did include one in this selection because many people enjoy that in their kitchen and I will do a full selection of the Best Scentsy Scents if you like food smells. But today we are going to be mainly focusing on bright, crisp, clean fragrances. And when I hear someone say, what fragrance do I need for my kitchen? There is an instant answer that I give actually two instant answers that I give. And we’re gonna start out with the very first one. This is coconut lemon grass. To me, the minute someone says, I need a scent for my kitchen, this is the Best Scentsy Scents for your kitchen. So the catalog says creamy, tropical coconut, and sunny, bright lemongrass. Now you’ll notice anytime that I test a fragrance, I’m always going to flip that bar upside down. There is a reason for that.
We use a paraffin base wax. That’s because it’s safe in case ingested by a child or a pet. But also we do that because paraffin wax can hold the highest amount of fragrance oil over any other type of wax. So we use paraform base wax, we load it full of fragrance. Most of the time wax is stored like this at the warehouse and so that oil is heavier than the wax, it’s going to settle in the bottom of the bar. So I’m going to flip it over. I’m gonna pop it out and I’m gonna smell the bottom of the bar. Now sometimes when you are smelling your Scentsy bars, you will see an oil. Um, I actually got a little bit on my hand when I opened this up. That is awesome guys. Now we don’t ever want it to make a nasty mess, but that means that we have loaded that so full of fragrance oil, that it’s having a hard time even holding all that oil.
Why do we want that much oil in our fragrance? Because it’s gonna smell longer. It’s gonna smell better longer. So there you go. Coconut lemongrass. My take on it guys, I will tell you, I don’t get much coconut from this at all. It is in your face, cre, clean, fresh lemon. I almost get a little hint of ginger in it, which is a fragrance that I love because it reminds me of pledge and like cleaning and things like that. Um, so coconut lemongrass, it’s strong, it’s noticeable, but it doesn’t give me a headache. Some fragrances give me a headache and this one does not. This is the epitome of a clean room, especially a clean kitchen. So if you want your kitchen to smell yummy and clean a brush, bright and sunny and summery, you need to get coconut lemongrass. So the next one I’m gonna jump to you.
Sunkissed citrus. I told you I had two fragrances that I highly, highly recommend. As soon as someone mentions kitchen fragrances, sun kiss citrus is the next one. So as I smell sun kiss citrus, it’s a a, it’s peeling into a cutie fruit. You know those little baby mandarin oranges, I think they’re mandarin oranges. Maybe they’re tangerines. I don’t know what they’re, they’re cuties. That’s what this smells like. Like as you peel back that peel, this is the exact experience that I get. The catalog says it’s a lively blend. Have oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits. So there you go. Bright, sunny, citrusy, the perfect scent for your kitchen. Next, this is a new one in the catalog this time and I am flipping through. Oh, same page cuz it is still in the citrus family. This is sparkling yellow. So we had this as a limited time offer in a rainbow collection. Everyone loved it. They decided to bring it out in the catalog for the full season. So the catalog says radiant lemonade brightened by flashes of zesty grapefruit and pineapple.
I can definitely get that pineapple. Guys, I love pineapple. I have it almost every morning in a smoothie. You can smell the little bit of sugar from the lemonade, but it’s not like a super, super sweet smell. This is definitely a lighter fragrance than the other two that I recommended. But still a great selection for your kitchen. So again, another citrus, which I love citrus for the kitchen. It’s just clean and airy and bright. That’s why I love it. So next I’m gonna switch it up just a little bit. I’ve done a lot of citrusy smells. Done three of those. Now my next three are not citrus at all. The first is appealing apple ae peeling apple. So it says a sugary sweetness of juicy apple and lively pear are even more tempting with a touch of flowering sweet pea. So when I smell appealing apple, it takes me back to middle school.
When Bath and Bodyworks had that country apple scent, this reminds me so much of that fragrance. I absolutely love it. It’s just a straight in your face apple scent, which what could be better for your kitchen? I mean apples, fruits, anything like that. Always a great kitchen fragrance. So I have appealing apple on my six pack pick of kitchen fragrances. We have two more. Let me find the description of the next one cuz I am totally switching categories here. I am going to recommend palm trees and ocean breeze. Guys, this was a scent of the month, I believe last year, maybe the year before, but like so often happens, everyone loved it so much that we added it into the catalog. It’s just clean to me like a clean spa. This is also probably going to be on my top six for bathroom fragrances. Just because it’s fresh, it’s light yet noticeable, just clean and yummy.
The description is bright palm leaf and fresh coconut water sway to the rhythm of an ocean breeze. Absolute perfect for a kitchen. Again, I keep saying the word clean over and over. The best Scentsy sense for the kitchen to me are fresh and clean fragrance. Now I am going to switch it up quite a bit for this next one because my last recommendation for your kitchen six pack is baked apple pie. Now I will tell you this is one of the classic Scentsy fragrances. They have always had baked apple pie since I started selling all the way back in 2008. It is a ferret, it’s always on the list. So it’s flaky crust, apples and spices combined in a strong, and that’s one of the reasons that I chose baked apple pie for the kitchen because it is a very strong fragrance and a lot of people like that strong fragrance in the kitchen.
There is a lot of vanilla and cinnamon in this. I will tell you this is not one that I would warm in my kitchen, not a fan of cinnamon. But every time I go to my mother’s house, this is the smell that hits me in the face. Baked apple pie is a top favorite among many, many people. So if you like the mixture of that apple and cinnamon and vanilla, this is the fragrance for for you. I still recommend it for a kitchen six pack.
