I have a six pack pick for you today, and this six pack pick is on mashups of Manly Sense. It’s gonna be a great one. Guys. I am Jamie Cho and I have had a partnership with Scentsy Fragrance for over 14 years now. I started my partnership with them all the way back in October of 2008. So gosh, it’s gonna be 15 years right around the corner. I love these products, and I especially love Scentsy Wax and Warmers. Those are all great and fine, but how fun is it to mix and match and make some brand new fragrances? So that is what we are doing today with my six pack pick. If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you know, when I talk fragrance, I always talk in a six pack. Why is that? Let’s jump right into this six pack pick of mashups of Manly, manly fragrances. Now, so you’re gonna have six bars right here, so you already have six fragrances, but I am going to do five different mashups with the same bar with mystery Best Scentsy Scents man. Now, mystery Man is already one of my favorite fragrances by itself, but I have some mixes to recommend to you guys, and I really think you’re gonna like them if you give them a try. Now, the first mix I want to share with you is actually one of the first mashup mixes that I ever tried.
And it’s Mystery man and vanilla bean buttercream. I like to call this one man candy. You know, you have to have fun names for all these recipes. So man, candy, equal parts vanilla bean buttercream, and mystery man. Now, when I’m trying to figure out on Scent mixes, if it’s something I’m going to enjoy, I usually just open the bars up both of them. Now, all of these are just equal part recipes. Well, one is not, and I’ll tell you that one, but I just like to pass them over my nose together to just kind of get a feel of what it’s going to be. Now, I love this mix because it’s the deep, the sultry, the warm, the sexy scent of mystery man. But then the sugary still warm, but a different kind of warmth. The sugary bakery melt in your mouth, smell of vanilla bean buttercream the two scents to together. These are very, very opposite. Different fragrances that are great on their own, but you mix them together. And I’m telling you, friends, if you go to some man candy, you gonna love it. You’re gonna love this scent mix. So if I haven’t convinced you by that, I don’t know what I can do to convince you. So we’re gonna move from man candy to, to something very different. Dad’s car. Have you ever borrowed your dad’s car?
There’s definitely a fragrance in it. And actually, I would call this my grandpa’s car <laugh>. And it’s like a reminiscent smell. It’s a smell that brings back memories of my time spent with my grandpa and riding in his vehicle. So this is a mix of white amber and teak and mystery man. All of these mixes are gonna take mystery man, so equal parts mystery man and white, amber, and te. You guys know how I felt feel about Mystery man already, but white, amber, and teak. I don’t know how to describe the fragrance except for it’s like a sophisticated, older gentleman. You know, when you’re at church and that grandpa that wears the suit every single week walks by, this is his smell. It’s not like a super sexy smell, but it’s like a, a clean gentleman smell. I don’t even know if I’m describing that accurately, but you mix Mystery man with white, amber, and teak, and it, it reminds me of my grandpa’s car.
It’s good, it’s really good. It’s fresh, it’s sophisticated, and it just smells so reminiscent of my childhood and spending time with my grandpa. Every time I would give him a hug, this is what he smelled like. So I love this mix. Now, for the next one, let me make a little Best Scentsy Scents confession. I, I have an addiction to binge watching Yellowstone lately. I know I’m late to the bandwagon. I know most of you been on that bandwagon for a long time, but my husband and I just discovered Yellowstone and we love it. We’ve actually finished all of them to date. We’re just waiting for the new Best Scentsy Scents episodes. We’re now watching 1923. But I, I preface this mashup to say
I’ve named this one Rip. Now I think Rip is pretty dang sexy guy. Best looking. No, but I love how he loves Beth unconditionally. So I enjoy me some rip on Yellowstone. This is, oh, I forgot to show you. It is a mashup of weathered leather and mystery man. Of course, rip is going to smell like leather. Of course, he’s got his chaps, he’s got his hat. He’s sitting on a saddle all the time. He’s going to smell like leather, but he’s also going to have this deep, sultry, sexy smell too. You mix the two of these Best Scentsy Scents together. If you’re a fan of a cowboy, get you this mix, put it in your bedroom. You know, I might even do two Mystery man to one Weathered Leather. That leather is strong, strong, strong. So you could probably do, yeah, I would do two Mystery man to one Weathered Leather for my newest mashup, which I call Rip. Now, the next one, we’re gonna kind of go a different, a different route here. Now we’re going on vacation because this is called a walk on the beach.
Now I wanna say it’s a walk on the beach hand in hand with the Man of your dreams. But that’s a really long D for a fragrance. Of course, mystery man. We’re gonna mix that with Bonfire Beach. Now, bonfire Beach is an interesting fragrance on its own. It’s rather light, but it’s got a little bit of smokiness to it. I think there’s a little bit of sweetness, like almost a marshmallow. We scent. It’s like you’re at a bonfire, maybe making some s’mores Now. It’s a very, very light fragrance. So what you’re going to have to do is double up your bonfire beach to your mystery man. Otherwise, that mystery man is totally gonna overpower bonfire beach. So you’re gonna do two cubes of bonfire beach to one cube of mystery man. And that is going to be a walk on the beach. Now, confession, this last mashup I’ve never warmed, but you know, I had to round out my six pack.
I was doing all of these with mystery man, so I thought I’d get a little creative. And so I just went to my stash of wax and started doing my sniff test of the two bars together. And this one I think is really gonna work. Banana, leaf and bamboo. So, you know, they have to have a fun name, mystery man, a banana leaf and bamboo. Instantly, I thought, I know what this is going to be named. This is going to be named Tarzan. Tarzan because a banana leaf and bamboo made me think of like swinging through the jungle and all that fun stuff. But you throw some of that mystery man on top of it. Yeah. Yes, I, I’m gonna give this a try ’cause I really think it’s gonna work. Well, mystery man and banana Leaf and bamboo, guys, I hope I’ve encouraged you to try some new things to step outside of the Scentsy bar box and do some mashups and mixes on your own.
