These are my absolute favorite fragrances from this catalog season, which is spring and summer of 2023. Now, these are not my all time favorite Scentsy fragrances. A lot of those have been discontinued, but I still am able to receive them through Best Scentsy Scents Club and you can do the exact same.

So let’s jump right in. I really had fun going through all my fragrances and um, picking out my top favorites for this catalog season. ’cause like I said, most of my favorites, I just get on Scentsy Club and I’m not often choosing my favorites from the current catalog season. So let’s jump right in. The first one I chose was Palm Trees and Ocean Breeze. Now this is a very fresh and clean fragrance. It was, I believe it started out as a scent of the month last summer and it sold out and we had to make more and everyone was just absolutely loving it.
And so they put it in the catalog and I still absolutely love it. It is so good. It is sweet, it definitely is sweet, but it’s still that fresh scent. This is a fragrance that I would be happy to warm all over my house. It is noticeable, but it’s not too overpowering and it’s not gonna have a negative effect on any room. If you’ve been watching me for any amount of time, I’m pretty picky about what I put in my kitchen and in my bathroom just because of, um, natural smells from those rooms interacting with the SS Scentsy fragrance. But this is a fragrance that could very easily pair in any room in the house. Actually, I think this would be a great bathroom scent, but I have put this in warmers all over the house. So palm trees and Ocean Breeze is the first one. The next one, <laugh>, you’ve heard me talk about this Best Scentsy Scents a lot, probably squeeze the day. I love Squeeze the Day.
It smells like the most delicious lemon cookie ever. And it reminds me of my grandma <laugh>. I’ve told this story before, so if you watch me on the regular, you’ve heard the story before, but I’m gonna make it really short. When my husband and I were dating my grandmother, we called her Bebe, my grandmother made these lemon cookies. They were super simple, just like out of a box cake mix. And she mixed like an egg and some oil and then it made like a dough and she made cookies from it. So he came over to her house while we were still dating, ate one of these lemon cookies. She just pulled outta the oven and told her how yummy it was. And she perceived that as it was his favorite of all time, when in fact he doesn’t really like lemon, but she perceived his, it’s so yummy as make this for me every single time I come over <laugh> and that she did, she always had lemon cookies for him.
And so now the smell of this, I think it smells just like a lemon cookie or a lemon bar. It just makes me think of her and it makes me smile. I love squeeze the day in my kitchen because it is that bright, cheerful lemony smell, but it’s not just plain lemon. There is more to it. I can smell like a, a vanilla bean undertone to it. I’m not reading the technical descriptions out of the catalog for you guys today. I’m just telling you how I feel about certain fragrances. The next one I wanna talk about today is Coastal Sunset. Coastal Sunset has been on my list of favorites for a while now. In fact, I have this in my Scentsy Club just in case it is discontinued and doesn’t come back. It has been a seasonal fragrance so far. So we’ve had it, I think the past two spring and summer seasons, but they’ve discontinued it over the fall.
So I always add it back to my Scentsy club right before catalog transition just in case they decide not to bring it back. I don’t wanna be without this fragrance. It’s very warm. Um, I can smell some amber and some musk in it, almost like a masculine woodsy fragrance, but not if that makes sense. It’s still a little bit lighter, a little bit fresher than one of those heavier woodsy manly fragrances. Coastal sunset’s been a favorite of mine for a while now. This is a new discovery for me. Star Apple Andreia. I just discovered this scent this season. It is not new this season, but I just warmed it this season. I love it because it’s a happy little mix of fruit and floral, which is an interesting mix, but it works. Here. You can smell the sweetness of the fruit. I don’t know what a star apple is.
I don’t know what a star apple smells like, but evidently it’s yummy and sweet. But then you can smell the undertones of that Freesia. The first thing you notice definitely is a sweetness, but as you continue to enjoy the fragrance, the the undertones of the Freesia kind of mellow it out and I really love it. Like I said, new discovery, but it’s a good one. Um, these next two <laugh>, okay, this one’s been on my list for a while and I had this one in Scentsy Club for a while because we didn’t always have it whipped. Vanilla lavender. We brought this out for Mother’s Day, maybe two years ago and I fell in love with it. Now here’s the thing, I have loved lavender for a super long time, but there are two different lavenders, French, lavender and English lavender. We have had a French lavender scent for a long time and it was not my jam.
I didn’t love it. It was too old ladyish for me. I love English lavender. And when they came out with this whipped vanilla lavender, I was over the moon because it is a great English lavender. I really don’t smell the vanilla at all. All I smell is the lavender, but it is that great English lavender. So if you are a fan of lavender, this is gonna be one that you love. Like I said, it’s been discontinued before and brought back, so I did have it in my Scentsy club for a while. So if this is what you love, start a Scentsy club. Get it added in there because it could be leaving us soon. And I’m gonna round out my six pack pick. You know, I had to have like a woodsy fragrance in there. I absolutely love the Manly Woodsy Fragrances Lake. My day is a brand new in this catalog season.
The minute I smelled it, when we transitioned to this catalog, I knew that it was going to be one of my top loves. Um, I have a feeling with a name like Lake my day, it’s gonna be discontinued in the fall of winter. It will be added to my Scentsy club ’cause I love it. It is woodsy but it’s fresh and clean. It’s like a mixture of both of those. This is what I am loving lately in my bedroom. This is what I have been warming in my bedroom. I always have a sultry deep fragrance warming in my bedroom and like my day has been my latest addiction. It is so perfect. I love something warm that it’s kind of calming to me and helps me sleep, but a little sexiness to it too because you know, Mr. Paul and I are happily married and I like a good sexy fragrance in there.
