Hello, and thank you so much for coming to Jami Jo Sells Wax. My name is Jami Jo and I have a partnership with Best Scentsy Scents Fragrance. I have been partnered with them since all the way back in 2008, so over 14 years. But we have a launch today that so many people are completely freaking out about now. When I started with Best Scentsy Scents all the way back in 2008, we just had basic warmers. We didn’t have any licensing. Everything was just, I mean, they were beautiful. They were great, but just normal, plain old household stuff. Couple of years ago we started out with licensure with Disney. Now we have expanded into having a license with Universal Studios, with Warner Brothers, so many different organizations that we’ve partnered with, and we have a brand new announcement, a brand new partnership where we are launching a friends warmer. Today, we are finally getting our friends warmer that everyone has been begging for for so long.
Now, I want to play a little bit of friends trivia with you before I give you a peek at this awesome warmer. Now, I know that everyone is going to be watching this at different times, but I would love for you to put your answers to these questions down in the Best Scentsy Scents comments below. I wanna see who gets the most answers correct, and don’t you be cheating and changing your answers after I give you the real answer. So I have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 questions for you. Now, we are going to start off with one that’s super fun. I want to know if you know which friends character has an evil twin. She’s not really evil, she’s just someone that this character does not get along with. Type your answer down below the answer is Phoebe. Phoebe has an evil twin sister. Now here’s the second part to this question.
What was that twin sister’s name? While you’re thinking of that and putting it in the comments below, I’ll give you a little backstory. Uh, Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe, was of course both characters, her and her evil twin. So when they did facial shots, she was that person. But there were a couple of times where maybe the characters were facing each other, and there was was a camera shot where it was the back of one person’s head and, and the face of the other. That character double in those shots was Lisa Re’s, actual older sister. It just never showed her face. But from the back, they looked identical. And Phoebe’s evil twin was named Ursula. Okay, moving on. I want to know if you know who was Monica’s first kiss.
Now we find out the answer to this when a bunch of the Best Scentsy Scents friends are at a college reunion and they are just reminiscing over some different things that happened at a college house party. There was a girl on a bed and Ross went into the bedroom and kissed her. He thought it was Rachel. Later found out it was Monica. Yes, Monica and Ross are brother and sister, but Monica’s first kiss was her brother. She just didn’t realize it at the time. So the answer is, Ross. Now moving on to a different character. What is Rachel scared of? There’s something that she had an incident with that she is so scared of. Put that in the comments below. If you know the answer. <affirmative>, Rachel is scared of swings. The reason she’s scared of swings is because she got her hair wrapped around the chain one time and her mom came in with scissors and cut her hair and she had to live with it all uneven.
She gets really upset about this bad haircut because she had to cut her hair off while she was wrapped up in a swing. Uh, now let’s move back to Monica and I wanna see if you know the nickname that Monica’s dad gave her. We learned the answer to this all the way back in season one of friends. So you have to be a serious diehard friends fanatic to know the answer to this. Her dad calls her little harmonica. We learn it in season one. We do hear it a couple other times throughout the series, but that’s where it first releases. We haven’t talked about Chandler yet. I wanna see if you know, what is Best Scentsy Scents Chandler’s dad’s job now? He works in Vegas. What does he do in Vegas now? Kathleen Turner <laugh> plays Chandler’s dad and Chandler’s dad is a drag queen. So Kathleen Turner is playing a man who’s playing a woman <laugh>.
This was unheard of on television at that time and was hilarious to see. Um, I recently watched an interview with Kathleen Turner talking about this and, and she talked about how hilarious it was playing that part. Um, let’s move on to <laugh>. Another really fun story that I just recently watched, the clip two, um, I wanna know who got stuck out of a pair of leather pants. This character was at a female’s apartment, went to the bathroom, he had on his leather pants, went to the bathroom and, and had sweat so much that he could not get the leather pants back up. He called his buddies for some advice.
Chandler wasn’t around, so Joey gave the advice to Ross. It was terrible advice, as Joey often gives. He told Ross to put powder all over his legs that didn’t work. So he, he said to put on lotion all over his legs, the powder and the lotion made a paste. It was a terrible, awful mess as Joey often created. Um, alright guys, we’re gonna wrap up the trivia with a really easy question. I want you to put the answer down in the comments below. What is the name of the coffee shop that all the friends always hung out at? We all know the answer, whether you’re a super fan or not, you know the answer. They create the best coffeehouse mood where moments with friends are sweetened by laughter and coconut cream. I got to smell this while I was in Charlotte at the SS Scentsy Convention.
