And I’m passionate about it, and I’m excited about that topic because when I started my then side hustle with Scentsy, I was actually an elementary school teacher. I have a degree in early childhood education, and I spent six years in the classroom before I stepped away from the classroom to focus on my Scentsy business. So I kind of feel like I’m somewhat of an expert on this topic gift giving for teachers this holiday season.
So we’re are, we’re gonna jump right into it. Um, the first thing I want to let you know is that teachers don’t want anything. Apple. Please don’t buy them the cutest little apple sign or the cute little apple key chain or the apple this or the apple that in just my six years of teaching, I came to hate apples because nothing says I know nothing about you. <laugh> like an apple gift for a teacher. Just gonna throw that out there. Also, um, while candles and lotions are a great idea, essentially, um, candles are not a product that can be used in the classroom, and lotions are very sit specific. Now, I, you’re gonna question me on this by one of my gift suggestions, but just hold on. Just hold on and let me explain. Um, so please stay away from lotions and candles. They’re, they’re just not ideal either.
Um, the number one gift the teachers always want is a gift card. I promise you that. Now, uh, I mean, yes, you can get a Scentsy gift card from me, but I’m not even here to blast out getting a Scentsy gift card. If, if you’ve waited two last minute to get a gift, let me know. I’ll whip you up a Scentsy gift card. But a gift card is always the best because every teacher is absolutely different and their, their preferences are absolutely different. All that being said, let’s jump into the Scentsy gift items that I think make amazing gifts. Now I know, I know, I know I said don’t get lotions, but I do want to throw out there that Scentsy has some of the best hand soap that you will ever find. I bring this up because of the price point. You can get a three pack for $27 of the holiday cents, or you can get any of the regular hand soaps for just $9.
If you are looking to do some gifts at an extreme budget like super affordable budget, this is a great gift to get. Put a little tag on there that says, hands down, you’re the best teacher, you’re the best teacher. Hands down whatever you want to do. Um, great gift. You can also do just like a single Scentsy bar, a single sense circle, which is just $3 tons of super, super affordable, very inexpensive teacher gifts, any of our smaller products. Um, but I’m gonna show you some other products that I know that teachers would absolutely love. This is our fragrance flower. So this is a step up. Um, budget wise, I’m gonna do this in order of budget. Our fragrance flowers are $16 each, or you can get a three pack of them for $45. Here’s why I love the fragrance flour. This does not take electricity at all, and this is a fabulous fragrance product that a teacher can keep right on her desk.
So we have a couple different flour designs all the time. We have this one called Darling Dahlia. We also have a Buttercup bell and then we have a couple seasonal flower designs as well. Price point, fabulous. Smells fabulous and it’s something that can be used in the classroom. So I think our fragrance flowers are an awesome, awesome gift. Now let’s talk about fragrance for the classroom. Back in the day when I taught, it’s been, gosh, 15 years now since I’ve been in a classroom, we were using wax and warmers. Now, most schools now prefer that you don’t use wax and warmers. Some of the fire marshals just for insurance purposes, don’t allow wax and warmers. Um, looking back now, it probably wasn’t the best idea because there is such, uh, an opportunity for mess to happen. Just when you throw that many young kids in a classroom with wax and warmers, mess can happen.
But Scentsy listened to us and they have made some mess free options for fragrance. So like I said, I am going to go in order of price point and show you these items. I have one of our mini fan diffusers here. I’m gonna take the pod off of it to show you how it works. So the mini fan diffuser, we have several different color options here. They all come with a USB port inside is a fan. This USB port is perfect to plug into a computer, just leave it on the teacher’s desk. But this actually can be put anywhere in the classroom. Just get a plug actor like you used for your cell phone or let the teacher do that, whatever, whatever on top of this, you’re going to put a scent pod. Now I have the label torn off of that one. I’ll show you why in a second.
This is what a s Scentsy scent pod is. It’s just a plastic cage with fragranced beads inside. So you put it on top of the mini fan diffuser. The reason I pulled the little label off is I like to wrap it around on the mini fan diffusers just to keep that scent pod right on the fan diffuser. So even if it gets knocked off a shelf, whatever happens, the Scent Pod stays on there, doesn’t go rolling across the room. Now let me tell you, room fragrance is always a fabulous option for a teacher. ’cause trust me, those kids, they be Spanky, they ooh, mm, especially after recess in Oklahoma in August. It’s bad, it’s bad, it’s bad. So room fragrance is always a great option. So these, uh, $15 and then $10 for a twin pack of the pods. This is a little step up.
These are either 30 or 35. I think we just changed the price on these. I think that’s the new price. And I’ll tell you why. There’s two different price points in just a second. Yeah, 30 or 35. Now let me show you how these work like this put together. I love the fact that it’s a sturdy plastic. You don’t have to worry about it breaking like our glass or ceramic mini fans. It has not many fans. Um, mini warmers, this is our mini fan diffuser, um, fan inside, just like that mini fan diffuser I just showed you. You could pop one or two pods down in there, put the top back on, plug it in. This is Rotable. So if the plugs are a crazy sideways plug, sideways plugs are upside down, it’s still fine. Push the button. That fan is going to start and blow through those pods.
Immediate fragrance. Now two different price points because, and for a classroom, I don’t see why you would need a downlight. This one does not have a downlight. Uh, this is just where the air gets sucked up in there. Um, some of our mini fan diffusers do have a downlight. So if you’re looking at using these in your hallway or in your kitchen where you want a nightlight, something like that, the downlight would be great. Those would be 35. We do have some really cute licensed ones as well that are different. Pardon me, different price points. Now, if you want to be the favorite, I’m gonna have to look at the price point of this. This is a brand new product, this catalog season, brand new, brand new, brand new. That’s why I don’t know the price off the top of my head. And now I can’t find it in the catalog.
What the heck? Oh, there it is. Oh yeah, I forgot that. These were such an amazing price. Okay, we’re taking it up a notch. Taking it up a notch. This is our tabletop fan diffuser. Guys look the same. Look familiar. Yep, it’s got that fan down inside. You put the pods in the top, it’s gonna come with a longer cord. So you plug it in right there, you plug it into either USB or you get that, um, plug adapter. So you can plug it right into electric outlet and on off here. So higher quality, this is ceramic. So maybe that’s a pro. Maybe that’s a con. Depends on what age we’re looking at kids wise and, and what the, the classroom situation is. But it’s gonna smell just as amazing. But still that no mess option. So if you are wondering what kind of fragrances are best for a classroom, I’m gonna give you two very, very different suggestions.
The first is a very light, chill, calming fragrance. I recommend Aloe water and Cucumber or Amazon Rain. The other one that is absolutely fabulous this time of year. I say this time of year, it’s fabulous all the time, but it’s only available this time of year is peppermint. Peppermint is known to stimulate brain cells and synapses within the brain. So we have a scent called Perfect Peppermint. I think that is a great fabulous option for a classroom. Like I said, it is seasonal. It’s only available in the fall and winter. So pods are $10 a twin pack. If you buy five, you get one free.
