I have been partnered with Scentsy Fragrance for 15 years now. I started my partnership all the way back in 2008. I started as a customer. Quickly, <laugh> became an addict and decided why not just share Scentsy with my friends and family and never looked back since. Scentsy has afforded me many amazing freedoms in my life and they’ve gifted me, I say gifted, I have earned several vacations. Thanks to Sense Fragrance. We’re not talking about all that today. Today we are doing a scent review, and today’s fragrance is one of Scentsy’s best sellers. That being said, when I started doing the research for today’s video, I found it really humorous because baked apple pie is one of Scentsy’s best selling fragrances.
I believe they’ve had it for the entire 15 years that I’ve had a partnership with Scentsy Fragrance, how they only have three products in this fragrance. And I just found that really, really odd for a best selling fragrance to only have three products. So I don’t know why I, I really, I have so many questions right now and I, I can’t believe I’ve never realized this until now. But let’s talk about baked apple pie and let’s talk about the fragrance or the products that this fragrance comes in and, and really let, let’s ask so many questions right now. <laugh>. Let’s ask why Scentsy do you only have this bestselling fragrance in three products? Okay, first, let’s start with the fragrance itself. The title kind of says it all, baked apple pie. What do you think it smells like? Friends. Hmm. Baked apple pie.
Now I will tell you, baked apple pie is my signature Thanksgiving dish. You know, everyone has their signature dish within the family when it’s the family potluck for Thanksgiving. What dish are you bringing? I’m curious. Tell me in the comments below. Baked apple pie is the dish that I’m always known for. I always bring the apple pie and while this fragrance is super duper yummy, it doesn’t smell like my baked apple pie. I will tell you this baked apple pie fragrance is heavy on the cinnamon. Definitely apple and cinnamon. I would say it’s low level on the buttery crust. Now let me tell you about my baked apple pie. I actually make a caramel apple pie, so my apple pie is a lot more sweet, a lot more caramelly, a lot more buttery. This fragrance super good, but like I said, super cinnamon, um, Scentsy’s description of it says flaky crust, apples and spices combined in a strong scent.
And they are not wrong. This is a very strong fragrance. So if you like a fragrance that is in your face and noticeable, this is the one for you. I mean, we have several that fit that description, but baked apple pie is one of the fragrances you should try. Interesting backstory on baked apple pie. In my research, albeit not official at all, I think that baked apple pie is the favorite fragrance of my very masculine male customers. I feel like every dude’s dude that orders s Scentsy from me loves baked apple pie. I actually have a customer that I gifted a s Scentsy warmer II and some s Scentsy wax. This was someone that had played a very important role in my life. It’s somewhat, somewhat like a local celebrity around here in the Tulsa area. I am from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area area and I gifted them a warmer and some different bars of wax and it was just kind of like a collection of wax. And this gentleman said, Jamie, thank you so much for your gift. Can I switch those all out for baked apple pie? That’s really all I want. Baked apple pie.
Sure, sure, we can do that. I want you to have what you like. So baked apple pie. A favorite among the male customers in the Oklahoma area. I don’t know if that’s like a regional thing or if that’s just all dudes in general, but baked apple pie. If you’re buying a gift for a dude, get you some baked apple pie. Now I told you it, it came a very few products. This is so weird to me ’cause we have several different products, but baked apple pie comes in three products. You can get the bar of wax, which of course if you’re watching this and you’re a lover of scenty fragrance, I’m sure you already know about the warmers and wax. You can also get it in a scent circle. Obviously this bright blue one is not baked apple pie, but this is our scent circle.
You can also get it in a room spray. Now let’s talk about these two products. So the scent circle, fun fact. Did you know that it used to be called a car candle? When I first started with Scentsy fragrance, scent circles were called car candles and the code for it was cc. Well, CC doesn’t work anymore in our computer system as the code for scent circle, although I still find myself typing it in. But a scent circle, I almost called it a car candle. A scent circle is just a disc of cardboard soaked in the fragrance of choice. Now I do love that. Now we label the scent circles with the fragrance. Back in the day, we did not. And so we would have these customers coming to us, bringing us this cardboard faded out sit circle or car candle, and they’d be like, Hey Jamie, I want another one of these.
I want this exact fragrance. And I’d be like, uh, who trying to guess what the fragrance was? It was terrible. But thankfully now Scentsy labels it with the fragrance on there. Now these were specifically made to hang from the rear view mirror of your car. But there are other uses for it. Uh, I have seen a lot of people put a thumb tack, myself included a thumbtack on the inside of closet doors and hanging one in there. I’ve done that mainly in my linen closet. I will tell you that there’s oils in this bad boy and if it touches the dash of your car or certain other surfaces, the oils can damage that surface. So wherever you’re going to hang your scent circle, make sure that it is free hanging, that it’s not going to bother any surface that it is up against. Now let’s talk about this, the room spray.
Uh, obviously, again, not baked apple pie, but let’s talk about this little bitty can of room spray because this bad boy packs a punch. You can see the size of it, not a huge can at all. Definitely not the size of certain room fragrance cans that you can get at Walmart or Target or any of those stores. But let me tell you that this little big can is gonna last a bazillion years longer. I exaggerate a little bit, but it’s gonna last way longer than that can of another brand that you buy at the store. Let me tell you that this, that bad boy is re gran it super, super strong, especially if you get it in one of our strongest scents, the baked apple pie. One thing I do wanna warn you about with our room sprays, if you are spraying it in a room with tile, it can get very slippery and slick on the floor.
I do not recommend you just spraying this in the air of a room, like a bathroom that has tile. I have two different recommendations. If you are using a room spray in a bathroom. The first is before you sit down on the toilet spray a couple squirts of this in the toilet. It is going to create an oil barrier on top of the water. Then when you sit down to use the toilet, any things that might go into the toilet are going to be trapped underneath that oil layer and the smells of those items are also going to be trapped. You get it? You know what I’m saying? Um, the other way that you can use this is to grab a square of toilet tissue from the roll and just give this one squirt on that toilet tissue and place that square on top of the trash can in the toilet.
It’s gonna sit there, it’s gonna fragrance the room without the oil hitting that tile and making it really slick. So couple tips and suggestions there for you. For the three items, that baked apple pie is going to come in. If you like cinnamon, if you like a strong fragrance, you’re gonna love this.
