I started my partnership with them all the way back in October of 2008, so I’ve been working with them for a very, very long time. But today I am coming to you to talk to you about the new charitable cause warmer that will be released on September 1st. Now, did you guys know that since the always chooses a charitable cause product every single catalog season, I would love to hear what charity you would like them to work with. Now let’s talk about this charitable cause warmer for this year.
It’s absolutely gorgeous. So I’m gonna scroll through a couple different photos of it for you right here. You are going to see, like I said, a couple different photos. It is of the exact same warmer with different colored light bulbs and there is a special reason for that. This is our charitable cause warmer for the fall and winter season of 2023 to 2024, and it is called heart to heart. I am so excited about this because like I told you, I have a very personal connection. <laugh>, everybody meets squirt. He wants to be in the video today, evidently with his tail. So, uh, if you see a cattail swish by, it’s just squirt being a part of the video. Okay? Back to what I was saying. I have a very personal connection with this charity and this charitable cause. Warmer. We are raising money for foster care and adoption.
Now I am a foster mama and an adoptive mama myself. My, I have three children and they all came to my family in different ways. Our family started with a biological child. She is actually our middle child and biologically joined our family. So like many children joined families, then we decided to get involved in foster care. We fostered, who is now our youngest son. We fostered him for six months and then adopted him. And much later in our family’s journey, we adopted our oldest son. Now we met our oldest son when he was already an adult, but he needed a connection to family and our family needed him as well. So we welcomed him into our family. Consider him a part of our family. Although there is no legal documentation of that, we consider him our son. So I have three children. They joined our family three different ways, but like I said, I am truly affected by foster care and adoption and our family has been blessed through both of those things.
I’m so excited that Scentsy has decided to partner with supporting initiatives fo focusing on adoption and foster care. Now let’s talk about the Scentsy Family Foundation because that is the 5 0 1 C three nonprofit that Scentsy created and it is created to support charitable causes in the US and in Canada. And they focus on children, families, and communities. Now we have had a lot of charitable cause partnerships in the past, a lot of charitable cause donations, products, all that good stuff. Some things that we have supported in the past have been Feeding America, St. Jude Children’s Research Research Hospital. We have partnered with Mental Health America, the National Breast Cancer Foundation. And if that’s something that you are personally connected to, make sure you subscribe because we’re gonna have a little something that you might want to know about. In October, we’ve also partnered with the Dave Thomas Foundation for adoption and foster care.
We have, uh, worked with Make A Wish Foundation. We have worked with Habitat for Humanity. I know that we have in the past worked with some initiatives to raise awareness and research for autism. We have partnered and worked with so many different organizations. Scentsy is a company that really, really focuses on giving back. So this partnership with initiatives focusing on adoption of foster care, I’m so excited for now, let’s go back to the actual warmer called heart to heart. Now, this is really cool Scentsy has never done this before. They are including four light bulbs. With that warmer, of course, you’re gonna get the white light bulb, but you’re also going to get a red, a blue, and a purple. And each of those colors symbolize something different in the adoption and foster care community. So you get to decide which colored light bulb you want to put in that warmer, um, whether you want to support the different, um, agendas with those things of foster care and adoption.
Or if you just like one color better than the other one, you get to choose which one you put in the warmer. Now, if you didn’t know we had colored light bulbs, you can actually order, um, even more colors than that directly through the website for any of our warmers. But this is the first Scentsy warmer that comes with multiple colored light bulbs. So that is super, super exciting. Now I wanna jump back to the question that I asked you at the very first of this video, and that is, if you could support or if you could help Scentsy raise money for any nonprofit agenda, what would it be? Like I said, they truly do. Listen, I mentioned that we are going to be working with breast cancer research again in October. That is because so many people have begged for that to come back again. We have worked with breast cancer research before, but our customers have said, Hey, we want more breast cancer awareness products since you listened. And they will be bringing you more of those during Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. Um, I think that’s everything to cover about this new charitable cause warmer. Oh, I did forget to tell you, they are donating $10 from every single warmer sold. So this warmer is $55 in the us but $10 of that is going to those initiatives that support adoption and foster care.
