I have a fragrance business and I have been partnered with Best Scentsy Scents Fragrance since all the way back in 2008, so over 14 years now. I was a public school teacher at the time when I found Scentsy. Started as a customer, fell in love with it and quickly decided to jump on board with a partnership. And I have never looked back. I absolutely love sharing the product with my friends, my family, my followers, but more than anything, I love mentoring other people on their very own Scentsy journey when they decide to start a partnership with Scentsy. So today I want to cover some questions that I’m often asked from people that are considering jumping on board. I, like I said, have been doing this for over 14 years and there is definitely the same questions that I get asked over and over again.
So hopefully this video will answer some of those questions that you might have if you are thinking of starting a partnership with Scentsy. So the very first question I am always asked is, how much does it cost to get started? Now this answer changes from month to month at times because Best Scentsy Scents does offer different join specials for different months of the year. But always there are three different price points to join csi. Um, I say three different price points. There’s actually an endless number and it’ll make sense when I explain it in just a minute. The deluxe kit to get started with Scentsy is $99. Now I am talking in US dollars. There is a difference in Canada, Mexico, and over in Europe or Australia, but in the US it is $99 for that de deluxe kit. Now, that is the kit that I recommend, not because I want you to spend more money because it’s a bigger bang for your buck.
You get more products to try, more sales tools, more business tools. It’s just the best deal if you ask me. But if you don’t have $99 in your budget, that is completely fine because we have other options for you. There is a host kit that is only $59. Now this is a more condensed kit. You don’t get all of these same items that you get in the the full deluxe kit, but you do get at least a warmer. You get all your testers, um, and you get all these startup materials that you need to get started with the business. Now I said there was an endless number of price points because that $59 kit can actually be as low as $0 out of pocket because it is a host kit. So the idea for this kit is that you would sign up for either an affiliate link or a party with me, some sort of cent event where you could share Best Scentsy Scents with your friends and family.
Now, if you do that as a hostess, I am going to reward you on the company’s behalf with discounted product in the form of half price items and product credit. However, you can use that product credit towards the cost of that host kit. So let’s say that you have a $500 party, which is my average party. Let’s say you have a $500 party with me, you would earn $75 in credit, which means that $59 kit is $0 outta your pocket. You still have a little bit more credit to spend and quite a few half price items. So you can jump on board with Scentsy and partner with Scentsy for $0, $0. So if it’s something that you’re considering, please, please message me and let’s talk about which kit option is best for you. Like I said, several months out of the year Scentsy even offers, um, highly, highly discounted kits, sometimes as low as 15 or $20.
So let’s chat about which kit is best for you. The next question that I get is what are the requirements? Do I have to sell stuff every single month? What does that look like? Now since these requirements at this time, and I’m filling filming this in May of 2023, at this time, the only requirement is that you do $200 in sales. Again, I’m speaking in US 200 prv, which is personal retail volume in a single month once every 12 months. So it can’t be spread out 50 50, 50 50. It has to be 200 PRV in a single month, but just once every 12 months. So once a year place a large bulk order and you get to maintain your status as a Scentsy consultant. However, if you want to really make some money with Best Scentsy Scents and you plan on growing a Scentsy team, you would need to do that every three months to maintain your team and to maintain your downline.
But if you’re looking to just get discounts and be a hobbyist, very, very easy to maintain your status as a Scentsy consultant. Just put in one bulk order every year. The next question I get is always about discounts. So I mentioned that if you’re looking at starting a partnership with Scentsy just for the discounts, do I get discounts up front? And this is kinda of an a very detailed question to answer and I’ll try to make it as simple as I can. Um, the answer is no. You do not get discounts up upfront. However, there are great deals along the way. You will earn a rebate on every single thing you buy from the Scentsy catalog and that percentage will vary, um, in the very least at 20% up to much larger percentages. Now, as far as do I get discounts just by becoming a consultant, I told you the answer was no.
However, I do get tons and tons of discounts in my business as a Scentsy consultant because what I do is I take random customer orders, I bulk them all together as an event order or a party order. And I mentioned earlier the way that you can earn host rewards. I take those host rewards myself, so I’m often getting credit to get my own products or my products at half price. And that is definitely a perk of being a Best Scentsy Scents consultant cuz as you gather up all those customer orders, you can put them in however you want, you can treat a customer and spoil them with all those goodies or keep them for yourself. Now let’s talk about pay. Um, how much do you get paid? When do you get paid? How do you get paid? How much do you get paid? I mentioned just a minute ago, uh, the lowest percentage that you will ever make is 20% off of the P prv.
That personal retail volume, that is when you first sign up as a consultant. Now, once you have sold 1000 prv, that jumps up to 25% and it never goes back down. But there are other ways that you can earn bonuses. On top of that, if you sell a thousand, 2000, excuse me, if you sell 2000 PRV in a single month, you get a 5% bonus. So you would make 30% on that. Then when you look at growing a team and and building a team within csi, there are tons of bonuses that you can earn to increase that, that commission check over and over again. You will get paid once a month, uh, typically the 10th of every month, and it is deposited into what is called our CSI pay card. Now it’s a little bit different in different countries. I’m speaking of us only right now.
We get that money deposited onto a debit card that is called our Scentsy Pay card. So personally, I throw mine right over to my bank. I don’t want it sitting on a card so I have it deposited to my bank account. But a lot of people that do this just for hobby or just for play, keep it on that card and they kind of leave that card as their play money Best Scentsy Scents card. So it’s up to you, whatever you want to do. I’m often asked if there are recurring costs, do I have to continually pay to become a consultant? And the answer is no. The only thing that you could consider paying monthly is for a personal website. Now, when you join Scentsy, they give you your website free for the first three months, and after that it is a decision left up to you whether you keep the personal website for only $15 a month.
Now, I will tell you, I have a couple different websites. I have my Scentsy website and then I have other websites that I host on different platforms. And I will tell you that $15 a month for a C website is teeny tiny amount, a little bitty amount compared to what a average website cost is. Also, you must have the p w s personal website in order to grow a team or to take advantage of different things like flash sales and things like that. I am able to pay that $15 time and time again in the month from my customers that are just always jumping on my website. We are in a society where people love to shop online. So it’s just a smart thing to keep your website open. Um, will you have help? Absolutely, and that is one thing that I fell in love with with Scentsy.
I had tried other direct sales and multi-level marketing companies before and I never found success. I never found success for quite a few different reasons, but one of those reasons was I felt like I was out on my own and just throwing stuff at the wall to see what would stick with Best Scentsy Scents . You are going to have help every single step of the way. If you decide to partner under me, I will happily mentor you and guide you into growing the business that you want.
