Well, from the name of this video, you know that I wanna talk to you today about white noise in your bedroom.
I’m actually not in my bedroom, I’m in my office right now. But I wanna talk to you guys today about this thing right here. This is our Best Scentsy Scents air purifier and I absolutely do have one of these in my bedroom, but I just thought I’d sit down here in my office and use this one to talk to you guys about today. So the question is, what is the best white noise for your bedroom? And you might have thought that I would be going a little different route with this, but I wanna talk to you guys about this thing right here, this Scentsy air purifier, because in my opinion, this is the best white noise that you could ever have in your bedroom because it’s not just creating that calming white noise effect to, to drown out any noises that might otherwise disturb your sleep, but it’s also cleaning the air around you while you sleep.
This Scentsy air purifier is freaking amazing. I will tell you, since I have been using it in my bedroom, I am not only sleeping better because of that calming effect of the white noise, but I’m breathing better now. I am not a doctor. I don’t claim to be a doctor. I don’t claim to know anything specific about allergies or all that stuff. I just know from personal experience I am breathing better since I started using this Best Scentsy Scents air purifier. Now here’s the deal guys. If you’ve ever thought about jumping on the Scentsy opportunity, um, I’m gonna encourage you a little bit right now cuz sometimes I hear people say, but I don’t know everything about all the products guys. I don’t either. I wanna talk to you guys today about that Cy Air purifier. I don’t have all the details memorized, but I have a catalog handy right here and it’s gonna tell me everything that I want to share with you guys.
So I do know off the top of my head that this has a HEPA filter. I don’t know what that means, but maybe you do. It has a HEPA H 13 filter and off the top of my head, I know that it like filters out all the nasties out of the air. Here’s the details. It says that it will remove at least 99.95% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns. Uh, friends, I don’t know what a micron is, I have no idea, but I know it gets the icks outta my air and I’ll show you how I know that in just a few minutes when I show you the filter. So, um, those airborne particles, it could be dust, pollen, mold and bacteria. And then it spits out the clean air out the top past Best Scentsy Scents pods. And I do know what that means.
That means dirty air goes in, clean air comes out and it smells a whole heck of a lot better <laugh>. Okay, so let’s talk about the features of this Scentsy air purifier. Then I know from this little indicator light, the little orange light at the top that I need to change my filter. So I have that here with me. I’m gonna show that to you guys as well. So first of all, one thing that I really like about the Best Scentsy Scents air purifier is the size of it. I just think it’s a nice size. When I was a teacher all the way back ages ago, I had an air purifier in my classroom and that sucker stood like this tall off the floor. Um, it was like a giant tower thing, so I didn’t like the size of it. It took up a lot of space. I also didn’t love the smell of it.
It gave off like an ozone type smell. I just don’t even really know another way to describe the smell, but it, it just wasn’t pleasant and I had two options for that air purifier and that was on and that was off. That was it. So the cin, air purifier has the senti air pi par has lots and lots of different options. So I’m gonna start with the top button. It is an on off button. So there, that’s the basics. Um, the next button down, it has a little clock on it and it has two, four, or eight. I can leave my air purifier on all the time where I can set it to just be on for two hours, four hours or eight hours. The next one is a fan button. Now I always keep mine on one setting, so I’m gonna go back, um, to the catalog so I can tell you exactly what it has.
It has three fan settings. It has auto mode, it has has low and high. I keep mine on low all the time. So the reason for that is I like the noise level of low honestly. Um, let me kick it to high. I don’t know if you can hear this on the video, but it’s just a very, um, slight sound of white noise. So if I push it again, it is going to kick it up a notch and it it is quite a bit louder when it’s on high. Now you can also put it on auto and it will fluctuate between the, the low and the high low if it’s not detecting any nasty, uh, dirt particles. But then it will kick into high gear if it needs to. Um, so that is the fan button. The other is the light button. So you can see this uh, white light that’s on right here.
I can turn that light off or have it on. Now one cool thing about when the light is on, it also is an indicator light. So I’m doing good right now cuz it’s white. That means that my air is clear, clean, clear, clean, whatever. It’s not detecting any nasties in the air. Um, should it detects some nasties in the air that is going to turn bright orange or bright red. So a couple things that might turn that indicator light. Uh, in my bedroom, my air purifier is kind of by the doorway between my master bath, my en suite, and my bedroom. So, uh, you don’t get a hair like this without hair products. I use lots of hairspray, I use lots of aerosol and different things like that. I also spray my body mist, my fragrance miss daily. Uh, I’m just a girl that’s high maintenance and I have lots of sprays.
So when I am in the bathroom getting ready, spraying my hairspray, spraying my fragrance mist, all those things, um, that turns orange on the one in my bedroom. If I have the light on, typically I keep the light off on that one just cause I don’t like it on at night. And so I just leave off all the time. However, I have had it on before and that does blare like that bright orange or bright red after I have been spraying all those aerosols. Um, so that is the indicator light. Those are the four buttons on your ear purifier. Simple, simple, simple but awesome that it has all these extra features. Now I wanna show you, I don’t know that you can see from there, but this little indicator light right here is telling me that it’s time to change my filter. Also, I wanna show you about the pods in the top.
So I’m gonna turn this off, I’m gonna unplug it. The first thing I’m going to do is grab those pods out of the top, take them out and set them to the side. Okay, so time to change my filter. Easy peasy. When the squeezy, I turn it over, I give it a little twist and take that off and pull out my filters. So you can see right here, this is how I know this sucker works. Um, I would’ve been breathing all that stuff, but instead this HEPA H 13 filter grabbed it all so it doesn’t have to go in my lungs. So I’m gonna set that down. I am going to grab my new air filter that I just got in my Best Scentsy Scents Club subscription. Uh, I keep an air filter on my club subscription so I know I always have one on hand. So that’s the brand new pretty white one. Let’s grab this nasty one again to look at the difference. So you can see that it definitely does work. It’s gotten all that nasty crap out of the air and I’m gonna put it in the trash. So I’m gonna grab my clean filter, I’m going to pop it right down in there. Grab my uh,
Bottom of the filter again. There is a little indicator on the bottom of uh, where you gotta put that in just right and give it a little twist to lock it. It’s being obstinate too. There we go. Okay, so now it’s time for me also to put in fresh pods. Um, typically I just change the pods when I change the filter. If you like it stronger, you can change your pods more often, it’s up to you. Um, so I did have apples and cinnamon stick in there. I’m ready for some fresh cleanness. We’re entering spring, so I have got me a package of newborn nursery pods. I love these. They smell it baby powder. What are pods? Uh, just little plastic cages full of scented fragrant speeds. So I’m gonna pop those right in the top there. I’m gonna plug this sucker back in and we’re gonna be set to go.
Oh, usually when you plug it right back in it turns bright orange. So it does take a few minutes for that indicator light and filter to turn off. But now that I have a a fresh clean filter in there, it is going to be working to clean my air and I am going to be set to go dirty air in clean air out the top past those fragrance pods. So it is going to smell good as well. So like I said at the beginning of this video, if you are looking to get a white noise machine for your bedroom, I would highly encourage you to skip that white noise machine and just grab you a Scentsy air purifier because it does that white noise for you.
