So a lot of these are just automatic shoe ins because they have berry in the name. So this is sugared strawberry. Sugared. Strawberry is, I mean, it smells like what you would think. It smells like, it smells like strawberry shortcake. I, when I was a little girl, I had this little strawberry shortcake doll. If some of you are in your forties or older, uh, you might have had one of those dolls as well.
My little strawberry shortcake doll smelled just like this. I absolutely love it. So this is a mixture. It is strawberries, juicy currents, and California sunkissed lemons, not just any lemons friends, California Sunkissed lemons. I don’t know if those are different or if they just thought it sounded a lot better in the catalog. But I’ll tell you, if you know what a strawberry short kick doll smells like, that’s what this bar smells like. That’s the, the easiest description I can give you is it smells like a strawberry short kick doll rainbow red. Now, this was in a limited edition collection, I believe last year, maybe two years ago. And people loved it so much they decided to put it in the catalog.
Okay, so here’s a really weird scent description and maybe it’ll make you really want it. Maybe it’ll make you think that’s the last thing that I want. But to me now, some people tell me I’m crazy, but to me this smells like Play-Doh. Like Play-Doh brand. Play-Doh. When you open the container and take a smell, that’s what I smell with Rainbow Red, Scentsy tells us it is Soft Watermelon Hughes highlighted with the sweetness of cherry and strawberry. So I don’t know where I get Play-Doh smell from it, but I do. But I chose it for this collection because it does have cherry and strawberries in it. I mean, I can, I can kind of smell the cherries. I don’t smell watermelon or strawberries. I like it. Don’t get me wrong, it takes me back to childhood. It definitely has a scent memory for me. And if you know anything about scent memory, it’s freaking amazing. It takes me back to childhood. It really does. So I enjoy Rainbow Red. I just don’t smell the berries in it, but I went ahead and put it in this collection. Okay, rainbow. Sure bet.
It really is a pet peeve of mine when people say sherbet because there’s no R at the end of it. It’s sherbet. I digress. Mm, this one’s super yummy. It says it’s a classic orange zest, sugared strawberry and key lime zing. Just like the real thing. I mean, it really does smell just like rainbow sherbet. It so good. It just smells like summer. It reminds me of the ice cream man, cuz I used to love to get the, the push pops. You know, kids these days are super bougie, but we used to eat ice cream outta toilet paper rolls with stick in it. It’s fine, I’m fine. It really was good though, <laugh>, we just didn’t pay any attention to the fact we were eating ice cream out of a toilet. Paper roll, whatever. Rainbow sherbet. I, I enjoy that one. I really do. Summer moonlight is the next one.
I don’t remember what this one smells like, but I know I picked all of these cuz they had berries in them. Ooh, again, I don’t smell the berry really. This one’s a little more, I almost said florally, but I don’t know about floral. Just like fresh. Ooh, I like it. Uh, fresh strawberries sparkle alongside sweet pea and shimmering sandalwood. So it is an interesting mix of berry and floral, that sweet pea and that sandalwood in there. Sandalwood is usually associated with super masculine sense. This is not masculine at all. Gosh, I don’t even know how to describe this one. It’s really kind of got me baffled. It’s the sweetness of fruit and you could definitely smell the floral, but I’m not a huge floral fan and I like this one maybe cuz that sweetness is on top of it. So that’s called summer moonlight. I enjoyed that. I’ve never warmed that. Maybe I should. Maybe I should. This is one of my new favorites, this catalog season. This is Raspberry Hibiscus tea. Again, we’re talking about those fruits and those flowers mixing it up a bit. But you can definitely smell the tea in this too.
I love this. My friend Joe, she trusts me to always choose her fragrances and I love her for that. Um, I know that she really enjoys winter winterberry apple tea in the winter, but that’s a winter fragrance and we don’t have it in the summer. So she just said she needed to place an order and she was like, gimme some of that same fragrance. And I was like, I can’t get you that fragrance, but this is what I hooked her up with cuz I think if she likes winterberry apple tea, she’ll like raspberry hibiscus tea. They’re both teas, right? I I think she’ll like it. So it’s a warm cup of wild raspberry and hibiscus pets sweetened with a spoonful of elderberry sugar. Guys, this is on my top top 10 for this catalog season.
